What is LC Email in GoHighLevel?
LC Email, short for LeadConnector Email, is the built-in email sending service in GoHighLevel. A sub-account can send from a shared domain without setup, or from a dedicated sending domain with its own SPF and DKIM records, which gives better control over deliverability.
How is it used?
- Sending workflow emails, campaigns and one-to-one replies from GHL.
- Sending from a subdomain such as mail.yourdomain.com to keep it separate from your inbox provider.
- Tracking opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes inside GHL.
What usually goes wrong?
- Emails going to spam because the dedicated domain was never set up or verified.
- Two SPF records on the same host, which breaks SPF entirely.
- No DMARC record, which some inbox providers now expect from bulk senders.
